About Bumblegee
Okay, we're going to cut the bee puns for a moment and get serious.
Our brand, Bumblegee Designs, was established in 2022 by Georgia, a neurodivergent, disabled survivor of domestic abuse.
After being stripped of her identify in an abusive relationship, our founder turned to digital art as a way to begin her healing journey. This led her to take control of her life and create her own brand, providing a new focus. What started as a fun side project alongside her job became a necessity when chronic illness made it difficult for her to work safely and consistently. The beauty of digital art allows her to design and create products from the comfort of her home, even during flare-ups.
At Bumblegee, our mission is to empower individuals who have faced challenges in being their true selves due to circumstances beyond their control. We aim to demonstrate that anyone can embrace their identity, regardless of any diagnosis or relationship. We firmly believe that everyone deserves to feel secure in their own skin and home.
Each design is crafted with care, passion and digitally drawn by Georgia, resulting in unique and vibrant digital art pieces that add a personal touch to any space or outfit. We take pride in our achievements thus far and look forward to continuing our journey of helping people feel beautiful, comfortable, and recognized!
